One day at a time

Hey Freaking Nomads,
Over the past few days, we’ve received a few emails and messages from some of you currently in the Middle East.
First of all, we’re thinking of you.
Sometimes the world feels unstable and unpredictable, and when you travel full-time and are far from what you consider “home,” that feeling hits very hard.
Here’s what I want to say:
Try to stay calm.
News cycles tend to move fast and intensely. Tension rises and falls. Airspace closes and reopens. What feels overwhelming today can look very different in a few days.
And while none of us can control geopolitics or the skies, we can control how we show up.
If you’re somewhere that feels uncertain right now, focus on what’s within reach:
Check updates only from reliable sources (once or twice a day, not every 10 minutes).
Make a plan A and a plan B, just to feel prepared.
Then return to your routine.
Work your hours.
Move your body.
Eat properly.
Call someone who makes you feel good.
One of the underrated skills of being a digital nomad is adaptability. And we are more resilient than we think.
So breathe and stay informed, but don’t spiral. Take care of yourself and the people around you.
I truly hope everything stabilizes soon.
Until then, we handle today.
Luca

🧑💻 The Nomad Resource of the Week
If you’re building anything online, like freelancing, blogging, consulting, selling digital products, you've probably noticed that most information out there feels written for venture-backed founders, LinkedIn gurus, or people claiming they made $300k before breakfast.
That's why we recommend Revenue Rulebreaker.
This newsletter is written by Lex Roman (former tech worker turned full-time blogger), where they share real revenue stories from solopreneurs and micro-business owners.
What we like about their newsletter:
They share exactly how many sales calls it really took
The cold emails that converted
What flopped
What paid the rent
How founders handle things like healthcare
It’s sent three times a week and read by 2,000+ creative entrepreneurs, with 250+ paying subscribers backing it.
If you’re building something while living out of a backpack (or at least trying to escape your 9–5), this feels a lot closer to your reality than Forbes ever will be.
