We know this is a big ask, which is why we’re sharing this honest INIU B64 laptop charger review of the power bank’s features, performance, and genuine value.
Pros and Cons of the INIU B64 Power Bank
INIU B64 Power Bank: First Impressions
The INIU B64 laptop charger arrives in a relatively unassuming box. The packing is clean, minimalist, and travel-friendly…although we all know it’s what’s inside that really counts.
When opening the box, you’ll find the INIU B64 charger, a fabric pouch, a 100W USB-C cable, and instruction manuals. On first look, the portable charger is a little bulkier than others, however, we do like the matte black style and soft plastic finish. There’s an LED screen at one end, with three clearly labeled ports on the top edge.
Straight out of the box, you can hit the power button to bring the screen to life. With the included 100W USB-C charging cable, it's easy to plug in a device, hit the power button, and get to charging. We found the INIU 64 to be intuitive to use, satisfying to hold, and conveniently shaped to fit into just about any travel bag or suitcase.
Design and Portability
The INIU 64 is larger than some other power banks at 7.77 x 4.02 x 1.22 inches (195 x 102 x 30 mm). Despite this, it is surprisingly lightweight considering the whopping 27,000mAh battery capacity, adding only 1.58 lbs (0.72 kg) to your remote work setup.
The portable charger feels both compact and sturdy, with premium construction and materials. That being said, the soft-touch plastic doesn’t seem like the most rugged choice for the INIU 64’s exterior. It smudges easily, and we suspect will end up with some scratches after a few years of use on the road.
A major reason why the INIU 64 is such a good charger for digital nomads and travelers is that it isn’t just airline-approved…it’s the maximum battery capacity for taking on flights. That means you literally cannot find a more powerful airline-approved laptop charger.
Charging Performance and Features
What stood out particularly to us about the INIU 64 is its impressive 27,000 mAh / 99.9 Wh battery, which has the capacity to fully charge 1.4 Macbook Airs, 4.7 iPhones, or 4.2 Samsung S23s! This is the reason why after testing it, it has quickly become one of our power bank of choice in our own team at Freaking Nomads.
For charging, in fact, you can use one of the three power bank ports that can be used interchangeably to charge all your devices, from your laptop to your mobile phone and tablet:
- A 140W on the PD 3.1 USB-C1 port
- A 45W on the PD 3.1 USB-C2
- An 18W with the USB-A port.
Of course, the charge capacity changes depending on how many devices are plugged in, all of which you can track using the smart LED screen.
The included USB-C cable is designed for up to 100W of power charging and can be used with the 140W port to charge laptops at lightning speed. For example, in just 30 minutes, we can charge our Macbook to almost 60%.
Pass-through charging is also supported (charging the INIU 64 and other devices at once). If used with a 100W power charger (not included), the INIU B64 itself can be fully charged in just 1.8 hours.
Compatibility and Power Efficiency
As digital nomads who depend on a variety of remote work gear to both travel and work, we need a portable charger that’s compatible with everything. You’re only allowed a max of two portable chargers per person per flight, and we just can’t waste space and weight on needing different power banks for different devices.

When charging multiple devices, the portable laptop charger uses smart power distribution to ensure efficient charging. It also supports PD 3.1 USB protocol, making this one of the best laptop power banks for travel.
The ports adjust their voltage supply automatically up to 140W, depending on the needs of the device plugged in. This also means that low-power devices like phones can be plugged in and charged at the appropriately lower wattage.
Software and User Experience
We’ve touched on the LED screen, but now it’s time to really break it down. On the left side of the laptop charger is a small power button. Press this once, and the screen will turn on, displaying the remaining battery percentage of the power bank - this is called "simple mode".
Hold the power button down for five seconds, and you’ll switch the screen into "pro-mode". With this activated, you can see way more information about the INIU 64 and charging details. You’ll be able to see the power outage of each port as well as the remaining battery life in hours.
This info is really interesting to see as you can track in real-time how the power bank is adjusting to the different device needs. It also makes it crystal clear how much juice the INIU 64 has left in it so you know exactly when you’ll need to recharge it, aka you might never be caught powerless again!
Is the INIU B64 Power Bank Worth it for Remote Work?

In our opinion, this is probably the best laptop power bank for travel, thanks to its massive battery capacity, triple charging ports, and compact design and we use it every day during our travels. It’s also budget-friendly, coming in lower than most other power banks on the market.
We absolutely recommend it for digital nomads and remote workers who need to keep their devices juiced up from just about anywhere in the world. It’s also ideal for frequent travelers who might not be living a full-time nomadic lifestyle but want a portable charger that’s reliable with superior charging speeds.
That being said, the INIU 64 might not be the best option for nomads needing seriously durable gear. This is because it's made of plastic gear, which might not be the most sturdy material. If you’re an adventurer who’s rock climbing, mountain biking, or maybe just clumsier than most, then you might want to look at something like the Goal Zero Sherpa, which has an aluminum case instead of plastic.

You might have seen this coming, but we totally think the INIU 64 laptop charger is worth your money. Not only is it lightweight, user-friendly, and fully airline-approved, but it’s also reasonably priced and offers the best battery capacity and charge efficiency on the market.
