Dubai has just launched an ambitious new initiative to attract global content creators and influencers through its Influencer Golden Visa program. Announced in January 2025, this program offers a 10-year renewable residency visa to eligible digital creators, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a leading destination for content creation and innovation.

The visa is open to a diverse range of creative professionals, including social media influencers, podcasters, visual artists, animators, and advertising professionals. Those who qualify will benefit from a long-term residency that allows them to establish their presence in Dubai with full business ownership, tax-free income, and the ability to sponsor family members. In addition, visa holders gain access to world-class infrastructure and a thriving digital economy that supports content creation and business growth.

This initiative is part of a broader effort called Creators HQ, which aims to bring 10,000 influencers to Dubai. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, emphasized the vision behind this initiative, stating:

"Our main aim is for global content creators to gather in the UAE, where they will find support and connect to funding and investors so they can innovate and expand their reach."

The application process for the Dubai Influencer Golden Visa is designed to be straightforward. Applicants must first submit an application through the Creators HQ website. If approved, they will receive a nomination email, after which they need to complete a medical test and process their visa. Once finalized, they can collect their new Emirates ID and officially become residents of Dubai.

To further strengthen this initiative, the UAE government has allocated $40.8 million to the Content Creators Support Fund, ensuring financial backing for influencers and digital creatives making the move to Dubai. This program is another step in Dubai’s ongoing mission to position itself as a leading destination for digital content creators.
