The second-best time is NOW

We've all heard the proverb, "The best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago. The second-best time is now." Simple yet powerful, right? It's been ringing in my ears lately, and I have a feeling it might resonate with you, too.

We're on the verge of launching a new project – something we're incredibly excited to share with you soon! But, if I'm being completely honest, the road to get here has been a winding one, full of doubts and "what ifs."

"What if we had started this project sooner? Would we be further along, more successful, happier?"

But this isn't just about business ideas. It could be about those bucket list trips that always seemed out of reach or those life-changing experiences we've dreamed of but never quite chased. It's that universal feeling of having missed the boat.

But what if missing the boat isn't actually a bad thing? What if the journey to catch up is what truly prepares us for what lies ahead?

When I look back, I realize that if we had started this project earlier, we wouldn't have had the wealth of knowledge and experience we've gained along the way to make it (hopefully!) truly useful.

And for those trips or experiences you've been putting off – maybe the wait has allowed you to grow and evolve, making them even more meaningful when you finally embark on them.

So, my tip for this week is to embrace the second-best time. Let's take that trip. Let's start that business. Let's chase those crazy, wild, improbable dreams.

Because the second-best time is now.

🧑‍💻 Nomad of the Week

@aritravelsworld: “Working remotely in Tofo Mozambique was a 10/10. I was able to connect with other digital nomads, plus the office vibes were on point! As someone who’s been a remote worker for a few years now, I can definitely say that you have a lot more motivation when you’re working in spaces like this. I mean who doesn’t love a tropical office and a coconut for a snack?”
